What Is Poly Film & Roll Stock?
Polyethylene film is produced by blown-film extrusion: resin is melted, formed into a tube, expanded with air, cooled, and collapsed into film. Resin selection, gauge, width, and additives determine how the film performs.
Film can be wound as roll stock, slit and wound as sheeting, or kept as seamless poly tubing. Converters use it to produce bags and packaging, while packaging and industrial users apply it directly for protection and containment.
